Viktor F! at the Black Box

Viktor F! – Puppet theater based on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
A tale of horror about the narrowness and madness of the human mind. It is about about a small, old man who lives alone in the isolation of his own his own 4 walls. Naive and driven by the desire for closeness and security, he conducts cruel experiments. He has long since lost touch with reality. And with it – his innocence.

Teater Štrik / Theater Strick is a multilingual puppet theater founded by Tea Kovše and Yves Brägger in Klagenfurt in 2022. They have already won international awards with the plays “MOŽ! sit with me” and “ČRV/The Worm”.

They collaborate with various great artists from the Carinthia/Koroška area and Slovenia, weaving together the most diverse disciplines and directions. They are regularly entangled with Marlies Franz & Christian Moser, a notorious Carinthian clown duo who direct their plays, the terrific opera singer Mateja Potočnik, the glamorous classical and jazz singer Natalie Krainer, with Katarina Zalar, the master of site-specific scenography and phenomenal costume designer, the music virtuoso and sound designer Aleš Gangl, and Jurij Torkar, the god of interaction art.

Everything on stage is made by them – from concept to dramaturgy and script, from set design to costumes and puppets. In many of their plays, the music is also specially composed for the performances itself. In intensive rehearsals, they put all the elements together.
