Razstava Fluvialni dialekti: Spomin vode predstavlja zvočno-kinetične instalacije Mihe Godca, ki v ospredje postavljajo zvočnost prečiščevanja in destiliranja vode. V svoji dosedanji umetniški praksi, ki se giblje na presečišču znanosti, umetnosti in novih tehnologij, Miha Godec upodablja postopke pridobivanja in čiščenja vode ter raziskuje posledice antropogenega vpliva na vodne ekosisteme in zvočne lastnosti vode.
Zato o vodi govori skozi mehaniko, ki jo obkroža, in zvok, ki ga oddaja poustvarjeni postopek. Vode torej ne reprezentira kot nevtralen element, ampak poudarja njeno fluidnost ter subtilno odpira možnosti poglobljenega razumevanja onkraj njene materije. Z uprizarjanjem ene izmed najpogostejših in ene izmed najstarejših metod pridobivanja pitne vode, reverzne osmoze in destilacije, umetnik ponazori kemijsko-fizikalna postopka, vendar je to le prva plast, ki se kaže skozi predstavljene konstrukcije. V ozadju mehanske estetike in njene zvočnosti tiči socio-ekološka problematika postopkov, ki kljub vsemu obstoječemu znanju ostajajo energijsko potratni in škodljivi za okolje. S pričujočo razstavo Miha Godec nadaljuje serijo instalacij, v katerih prevprašuje negotovost dostopa do pitne vode.

Fluvial Dialects: The Memory of Water is an exhibition by Miha Godec featuring kinetic sound installations that focus on the sonority of water purification and distillation. In his creative practice, which lies at the intersection of science, art, and new technologies, Godec uses water extraction and purification methods to explore anthropogenic impacts on aquatic ecosystems and the sonification properties of water.
To this end, Godec addresses water through the mechanics around it and the sound emitted by the recreated process. Rather than representing it as a neutral element, he aims to highlight the water’s fluid character and subtly open up space for a deeper understanding beyond its matter. By reconstructing one of the most common and one of the oldest drinking water treatment methods, reverse osmosis and distillation, respectively, the artist essentially illustrates these chemical-physical processes, yet this is only the first layer of the structures on display. Behind the mechanical aesthetic and its sonority, the exhibit points to the socio-ecological issues surrounding what remain, despite all the existing knowledge, energy-wasting and environmentally harmful processes. With the exhibition, Miha Godec continues his series of installations in which he explores the fragility of access to drinking water.
