Vljudno vabljeni na otvoritev razstav mladih umetnic Julije Dodič, Iris Kren in Neže Urbiha v Galerijo P74 v četrtek, 16. januarja 2025 med 19.00 in 21.00 uro.

Razstave umetnic najmlajše generacije Julije Dodič, Iris Kren in Neže Urbiha sodijo v sklop MLADI, ki predstavlja pomemben del programa Galerije P74 in je namenjen predstavljanju in promociji mladih in / ali manj prisotnih umetnic in umetnikov. Razstave med seboj niso povezane v smislu teme ali medija, druži jih le to, da gre za avtorice, ki šele vstopajo v umetnostni sistem.
Priložnost se je zdela idealna, da v pripravo vključimo tudi študente umetnostne zgodovine Filozofske fakultete v Ljubljani in s tem povežemo mlado generacijo soustvarjalcev sodobne umetnosti. Maja Albreht, Eva Jamnik, Hana Kreševič, Svit Skobir Lampič, Urška Štefanič, Maja Todić, Jadranka Veljić, Neža Vengust in Nika Vorih so v sklopu predmeta Vaje iz moderne umetnosti II sodelovali pri pripravi in izvedbi razstave, prav tako pa so prispevali obrazstavna besedila ter intervjuje z umetnicami.

Razstava bo na ogled do 20. februarja 2025 po običajnem odpiralnem času galerije (ponedeljek – petek, 12.00 – 18.00, izven uradnih ur po dogovoru).

You are cordially invited to attend the opening of the exhibitions by the young artists Julija Dodič, Iris Kren and Neža Urbiha on Thursday, 16 January 2025, between 7pm and 9pm at the P74 Gallery in Ljubljana.

The exhibitions of the works by Julija Dodič, Iris Kren, and Neža Urbiha, all of whom fall into the category of the youngest generation of artists, are part of the YOUNG series, which represents an integral part of the P74 Gallery program and aims to present and promote young and/or less frequently represented artists. The exhibitions are not connected thematically or in terms of the medium. Their only common denominator is that these artists are only just entering the art system.
Such a constellation seemed like an ideal opportunity to include art history students from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana in the exhibition preparation, thus interconnecting the young generation of contemporary art creators. Maja Albreht, Eva Jamnik, Hana Kreševič, Svit Skobir Lampič, Urška Štefanič, Maja Todić, Jadranka Veljić, Neža Vengust, and Nika Vorih took part in the preparation and implementation of the exhibition as part of the Exercises in Modern Art II course and also prepared exhibition texts and interviews with the artists.

The exhibitions will be on view till 20 February 2025 at the usual opening hours of the Gallery (monday to friday, 12.00 to 18.00, extra viewings upon individual arrangement).
