Cilj letošnjega Jazzohoda – vodenega pohoda s koncertom, s katerim glasbo povezujemo tako s pohodništvom kot tudi s kulturno in naravno dediščino Cerkljanske – bo Porezen (z višino 1630 m je najvišji vrh Cerkljanske), kjer bo »jazzohodce« s koncertom pričakal Jure Tori. Harmonikar in skladatelj, širšemu občinstvu najbrž najbolj znan kot član folk-punkovske skupine Orlek, se ob tem udejstvuje v širokem žanrskem polju, od filmske glasbe prek tanga in improvizacije do šansona in popa. Je član zasedb, kot so Tori Tango, Tori Trio, SATORI ter Flora & Paris, in sodeluje z uglednimi glasbeniki, kot so Ewald Oberleitner, Ganesh Anandan, Bogdana Herman ali skupina Hiša. Porezen ponuja lep razgled na okoliške hribe in Alpe; na vrhu je spomenik NOB, tik pod vrhom pa koča, ki jo upravlja Planinsko društvo Cerkno in kjer bo potekal koncert. Pohodnike bo do izhodišča pohoda pripeljal avtobus. Vzpon do vrha Porezna, ki traja približno 2 uri in pol, bo potekal po nezahtevni poti. Obvezna je pohodniška obutev, prinesite tudi hrano in pijačo. Po koncertu sledi vrnitev na izhodišče, od koder bo v Cerkno peljal avtobus.

This year’s Jazz Hike – a guided hike that connects music with hiking, as well as the cultural and natural heritage of the Cerkno region – will take participants to Porezen (at 1,630m, the highest peak in the Cerkno region), where accordionist Jure Tori will greet the “jazz hikers” with a concert. Tori, an accordionist and composer, who is best known to a wider audience as a member of the folk-punk band Orlek, is also active across a wide range of genres, from film music to tango and improvisation, to chanson and pop. He has performed with bands such as Tori Tango, Tori Trio, SATORI and Flora & Paris, and collaborated with prominent musicians such as Ewald Oberleitner, Ganesh Anandan, Bogdana Herman, and the band Hiša. Porezen offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the Alps. At the summit stands the National Liberation Struggle (NOB) monument, and just below the peak is a hut managed by the Cerkno Alpine Association, where the concert will take place. A bus will take hikers to the starting point of the hike. The climb to the top of Porezen takes approximately 2.5 hours along an undemanding trail. Hiking shoes are required, and participants should bring food and drinks. After the concert, you will return to the starting point, where a bus will take you back to Cerkno.
